The objective of this report is to set out proposals for a social project aimed at addressing the prevalence of youth crime and disorder that exists in the East Midlands city of Leicester.
Criminal events and civil disorder is a continuing problem
within most urban areas of the UK, particularly among the
younger population domiciled in the more disadvantaged areas
of its towns and cities. Consequently, there is a need for
the development of community projects that are focused on
understanding the causes of these events and develop a
social programme that will serve to address these issues.
