Overview

The aim of this paper is to reveal the level of awareness of the World Trade Organisation and its role within different segments of the population, and then to ascertain if there is a link between “education and knowledge.”

In an increasingly globalised world, awareness of global brands has become an important objective for both commercial and public organisations as a means of identifying their aims and objectives. However, while most international commercial organisations may have become adept at developing marketing strategies that enhance consumer brand awareness, international NGOs, such as the WTO have proven to be less successful in this context.
