Overview

Education course fees have an impact on the numbers of students enrolling for a course. This report evaluates the impact a change in fee policy has on a college in the private sector

It is recognised that the pricing of a product and servicing offering is important to the success of any business (Thomson 2001, McGee et al 2005; Johnson et al 2007) and this applies equally to those operating in the private sector of education. Will  higher course fees act as a deterrent to student enrolment and have an adverse impact on the business aims to improve student vocational learning? It is this challenge, and its implication for educational institutions, that is examined in depth in this report
