dependent upon the quality of, and levels of financial
support that is provided by its sponsors. As can be seen
from the official list of sponsors for NASCAR’s
2009 series, sponsors are involved in almost every aspect
of the racing events, from accommodation to gardening, power
tools to food and beverages and from shaving to entitlement.
It will also be noticed that there are some big national and
global brands included within this list including Coca-Cola,
3M, Gillette, Goodyear, Chevrolet, Dodge, Duracell,
Kellogg’s and UPS. However, the question still remains,
who are the top NASCAR sponsors and how much do these
organisations contribute to the sport.
