Overview

There are a number of environmental issues that attach to the promotion and management of country park rural tourism destinations, not least of which are those related to the potential damage and harm such tourism can impose upon the natural environment, its wildlife, flora, fauna and marine infrastructure and habitats

This study, based on a case study of a country park situated on the coastal area of East Sussex, UK, examines the various examines the various environmental issues that attach to this destination, the extent to which it has to operate within current environmental regulations while meeting the needs of the rural tourism community and its own revenue and profitability expectations. It further identifies areas of the park management's environmental policy that are requiring improvement.
